People have often asked me what my real (digital) wedding photos are like. well when i am allowed to shoot the way i think best i try to do this. just people happy, together and preferably looking a million dollars.

i hate modern digital wedding photography

there is a strange correlation between how elegant the weddings are and how beautiful the ladies are. (please note this is no adverse comment on any other type of weddings nor is it intended to be in any way derogatory regarding women's rights)

Leica MP /28mm the new wedding camera - the fastest wide angle there is. its so small people seem to relax a lot more with it than with a big modern reflex like the other local wedding photographers use in.

i think all cameras have their purpose. cameras this size you don't even need to look through allow people not to take you seriously. it makes the pictures look different.

leica MP. classier photos than canon L at a fraction of size and weight.
when film camera is this good i can't see any reason to use a big digicam.
no special effects, no photoshop needed it just takes very high quality pictures. my digipics are nowhere near. in comparison they have no quiet strength, no timeless atmosphere, no class

i can't remember what they were doing with him but i think they had a good time.

i like people who just let me do what i want in the photos.

this is what the 85mm f1.4 is designed for. people uninterupted, unaware of intrusion. i aim to capture moments that are important to people. i aim to make my wedding pictures look like stills from classic movies.

i didn't direct anything i just stuck the camera right up to them at 24mm and what i perhaps like the best are the eyes going different ways

i shot 3000 digital photos at the wedding.
i also did some rolleiflex, pentacon six, holga, lomo lca, Nikon F6 and eos1V.
I have shot safe digital and took more creative/higher risk film shots.
