I'm always looking for a good composition that is simple and graphic but that has a human, emotional element in it.
Mainly, I look for an image that shows me a different point of view and surprises me.
I want the best images in my portfolio & albums.
I want my clients to look a million dollars because they are. 
I want their weddings to look like what they are - the wedding top celebs were standing in the rain outside to try and get in at least to the after dinner party. 
I want my clients to look beautiful, feel special, look like the cool people they are, feel like movie stars and look like they are silver screen big time hollywood players because they are. 
I want to put such a distance between what I give them and what the local pros do that they have no choice but to remortgage their mansion to pay me. 
I prefer fantasy to reality. My photos are a fantasy which is almost existed.

Leica captures moments by itself. Im just pushing the button and loading film. I am wonder why I own any other cameras.
: That inherent texture and grain is what I fell in love with. The way film renders the color spectrum and blacks look different on film… it adds up to something you can’t get digitally. I’ve actually tried to emulate it when shooting digitally. I’m truly one hair away from selling all my digital gear and continue working with film exclusively.

: The film images have more character. To get the same quality digitally takes a lot of extra work and time. Film gets great results right out of the camera.

: What i like about expired films is you never know what you will get. I have a large bag of trashy films and each one does something different. It makes things easier. Only one film was ever a total disaster but it was 30 years expired.

I am glad i can still take photos i like. Taking decent pictures is never easy. And trying to make money off trying to take decent pictures is a very bad idea.

I may have various cameras mainly for speed, ease, fast lenses, weight or high volume of photos for clients for reasonable price but there is only one camera I really need if I really want to take a really serious photo.
: No computer generated efects at all except removal of scan dust. Shot as is. No light adjustments. nothing. Agfa optima 400 220 bought a couple of years ago in a lot of 300 rolls when they closed the factories down and had out of date stock left gathering dust in the warehouse. Hasselblad 555ELD 40mm FLE Carl Zeiss

: Certainly looking at images at 72dpi on a computer screen does not reveal all by any means. But with a large print or close examination with a loupe on a light box, you are treated to exactly what makes Carl Zeiss and Hasselblad revered like no other combination in photography.

: I have some new things i'm going to try this summer that i haven't seen in generic local wedding photos. they may work or not but the important thing is to try. I never get tired of saying i love real film;it can be gritty and dirty, magical even. I don’t have that same feeling with digital. This is just a personal response.
